Padang Indonesia Tourism is the capital of West Sumatra. The city is very beautiful and deserves a longer visit. The main attractions in the city include Museum Adityawarman (close to the bus station) in a traditional Minangkabau House and with a good collection of antiques and the cultural centre where we can see traditional dances on Sunday. It is an Art Institute, which often stages Minang dance and silat (martial arts) performance. The cultural center also offers free travel to the city.

Padang Indonesia Tourism has several houses built in traditional architecture, including  Padang Indonesia Tourism Museum where cultural and historical sights. Bungus bay with its white sandy the beach is good for swimming, boating or just watch the fishing boats go out to the sea in the afternoon. Small boats can be rented from here to some small islands in the area:Parsumpahan, Sirandah, Sikoai, pagan.

Padang Indonesia Tourism is a prosperous city and major ports, which has retained the atmosphere of a market town. It is the third largest city of Indonesia with a population of more than 300,000. nature area is South of  Padang Indonesia Tourism , the massive, Indonesia's largest national park sprawls Kerinci Street about a piece of 345 square kilometres of jungle mountain dominated by the volcanic Mount Kerinci, Sumatra's highest mountain is core.

Padang Indonesia Tourism has some nice beaches. The most popular are located south of  Padang Indonesia Tourism . The beaches are good for swimming, boating and just watching fishing boats going out in the afternoon. On Sunday are the beaches usually packed with families and young people enjoy their per day. On other days, however, we will find the deserted beaches.

One of the most famous attractions is the famous ' NASI Padang in Padang '. Numerous restaurants serve it is one of the most famous Simpang Raya, who offices in West Sumatra and Riau, but also in other cities in Indonesia. When we sit at a table, in no time, the waiter will fill the entire table with plates, with Kari, chicken and fish prepared in coconut curry, rendang meat in coconut gravy and DD Balado, thin slices served with red chili dried and fried beef is created.

History 
Padang Indonesia Tourism is a trading centre since the 16th century. During the 16th and 17th centuries pepper what grown and traded with India, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Netherlands. In 1663 the city came under Dutch authority. The city came under British authority twice, the first time during the United Kingdom and Netherlands (1781 1784), and again when the United Kingdom of the Netherlands between area was managed during the Napoleonic wars (1795-1815).

The city was then transferred back to Netherlands. Until about 1780 was the main product of the gold trade, coming from the gold mines in the region. When the mines where exhausted, the emphasis turned to other products such as coffee, salt and textiles.Padang Indonesia Tourism
