Pokhara

Pokhara is the second largest city of the Nepal. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Nepal, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Three of the ten highest mountains in the world are located 50 km (linear distance) of the city so that the horizon in the North of the City line provides a very close view of the Himalayas. Due to its proximity with the Annapurna massif, the city is also a base for company hiking the Annapurna Circuit. The Lake Phewa, as seen in the picture, adds a real charm to the city. Need to visit the place of the Nepal.

For many travellers, Pokhara represents a last chance to the stock of creature comforts before hitting the mountain trails. For others, it is a place to enjoy a beer steak dinner and cold after weeks of daal bhaat in the hills. Even if you're not a dedicated hiker, in there is much here to keep you occupied. Pokhara has many museums and some fascinating caves, Cascades, and the Tibetan villages in the surrounding hills.

For adventurers, in Pokhara offer travel agents a series of adventure activities, trekking and Ulm flights to safaris, rafting and jungle river. Paragliding from the point of view of Sarankot must be one of the most exciting experiments in the subcontinent. Otherwise, a good book and spend your days of reading in a café overlooking languorous Phewa Tal.
